We are proud to announce the release of Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini's new Boom Boom Bourbon Reserve whiskey.
The new bourbon is 116 barrel proof bourbon rested in maple syrup barrels. The new bourbon has won a distinguished double gold medal at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Boom Boom Bourbon Reserve will be on liquor store shelve beginning in July.

In 2014, Mike and TJ, two of the partners of 1st Round Whiskey, were talking to their distiller about producing a new bourbon, and how that bourbon can hold a unique place in the spirits industry. During that conversation they recalled that a third partner, Jaime, was a professional boxing judge, and the light bulb went on!
Boxing and bourbon, a perfect fit, and the idea of 1st Round Whiskey was born, making 1st Round Whiskey the preferred drink of fight night! Working closely with Cleveland Whiskey we wanted to create a new bourbon for a local world champion boxer's bourbon... and that's how Boom Boom Bourbon was born!

Our relationship with Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini made it our honor to produce the first offering of 1st Round Whiskey, Boom Boom Bourbon. Ray is a world champion boxer and a gentlemen, and the inspiration for Boom Boom Bourbon, a gentleman's drink, a champion's bourbon!

Working with our distiller Cleveland Whiskey, to find a welcoming and unique bourbon, Cleveland Whiskey developed a distinct bourbon by finishing Boom Boom Bourbon in maple syrup barrels. The bourbon offers a subtle hint of maple syrup in a wonderful bourbon whiskey!
Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini's, Boom Boom Bourbon, a world champion's bourbon, a gentleman's drink! Ray was the WBA world lightweight boxing champion from 1982 to 1984. In 2015, Ray was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
